Peter DeFazio

Peter DeFazio was the 2023-24 Wayne Morse Chair and is now a Senior Fellow at the Wayne Morse Center. He served for 36 years as the U.S. Representative for Oregon’s 4th congressional district, making him the longest-serving member of Congress in Oregon history.

Alison Gash, professor of polical science, is Faculty Affiliate at the Wayne Morse Center, where she teaches a seminar, Democracy in Practice, for Wayne Morse Scholars.

Ellen Herman

Ellen Herman, professor of history, was codirector of the Wayne Morse Center from 2016 to 2024. She is now the center's Senior Scholar.
