About the David Schuman Legal Justice Fellowship
David Schuman, beloved law professor, respected judge, and longtime Wayne Morse Center advisory board member, mentored hundreds of law students and graduates of University of Oregon Law in their public interest law careers. This annual fellowship, which is part of the Center's Law Fellows program, carries forward his legacy. While other fellows focus on legislation and policy, the Schuman Fellow is placed in an organization that seeks justice for vulnerable groups and individuals.
