Oscar Tovar (he/him) is interested in psychology and the studies of both the human mind and the relationships that affect it. He is fiercely passionate about advocating for better mental health care on a federal level, and has become highly active in social justice and advocacy, especially for the LGBTQIA+ community. Outside of academics, he spends a lot of his time reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
