Maya Ward (she/they) has been involved in Oregon politics since she was fourteen. Maya has centered their experiences around healthcare equity, reproductive justice, and community centered organizing. Maya has worked for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon and has also conducted research on the neccessity of gender inclusive language in Section 1557 of the ACA. Maya was a Wayne Morse Scholar in her undergraduate career, and is excited to continue her affiliation with the Wayne Morse Center.
