Lindsay Free is a fifth-generation rural Oregonian and a first-generation college graduate. Prior to law school, she worked in the Oregon Legislature and served as a policy analyst in both state and municipal government. Lindsay was a Public Law and Policy Fellow during her 1L year and focused her research on proposed changes to the state’s land use laws for temporary medical hardship dwellings. She is passionate about the issues facing Oregonians, especially the challenges around revitalizing and increasing opportunities in rural communities.
