About the Wayne Morse Center - Programs
The Center carries out its education mission through five primary programs.
Wayne Morse Chair for Law and Politics
The Morse Chair is one of the most distinguished chairs at the University of Oregon, reserved for scholars and activists who exemplify the traits of Senator Morse. Occupants of the Morse Chair visit UO for 4 - 12 months to participate in classes, scholarly activities, and community events. View a list of former occupants of the Wayne Morse Chair.
Politics and Policy Program
Wayne Morse Center Senior Faculty Fellow Dan Tichenor convenes a faculty colloquia series on critical issues in American politics, public policy, and current affairs. It features discussions with Morse Center Distinguished Speakers as well as ongoing research by UO faculty members and invited guests. The Politics and Policy Program also includes book events and special programs that promote research and discussion of public policy issues. To learn more about the program, contact Professor Tichenor at tichenor@uoregon.edu
